On June 22 the jury of the "xplore New Automation Award 2008" educational competition met at Phoenix Contact in Blomberg. 100 projects in the six categories of Education, Buildings, Ecology, Factory, Net and Recreation were selected.
As part of the "TectoYou" initiative, Phoenix Contact introduced itself with its own booth at the Hanover Trade Show. In line with the "Score with Training" theme, they informed the youthful visitors about the apprenticeships available at Phoenix Contact.
On January 26, Phoenix Contact's fourth xplore New Automation Award 2008 competition was launched by Dagmar Wöhrl, Parliamentary Secretary of State in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Berlin.
